May 2026 – I had the absolute pleasure of awarding these two amazing people and dedicated instructors their Master 5th Dan black belts.
Jake has been with us for over 23 years and Eiros has been with us for around 17 years, so 40 years combined knowledge and experience between them.
This is such an incredible achievement and they couldn’t be more deserving of these very rare awards. These are the highest belts that have ever been awarded in our club.
Statistically:
> Only 20 in every 10,000 people who start martial arts go on to earn their 1st dan black belt.
> Only 1 in every 10,000 will go on to teach others.
> Only 0.2% of them will then go on to earn their 5th Dan Masters black belt, so this is why it is such a great achievement for these both.
Not only are these two amazing instructors, they are both such genuinely nice people and our club wouldn’t be anything without the amazing instructors we have.
Master Eiros and Master Jake, congratulations to you both on the huge milestone and thank you again for everything you do for Impact martial arts.
